MADE IN POLAND INTERIOR

Made in Poland Interior Design Project

In the interiors of the Made in Poland House, whose form is a synthesis of various types of Polish single-family homes, there is another reference to traditional construction – brick, in its naturally warm red color. The dense arrangement of bricks in the lower part of the living room wall transitions smoothly into a subtle lattice near the ceiling, giving the composition a sense of lightness and, combined with lighting, creating an interesting visual effect.

In the living room, kitchen, and dining area, light wood predominates, which has also been used to finish the terrace as well as its surrounding walls and roof. This material consistency makes the large glazing an almost imperceptible barrier, allowing the terrace space to merge seamlessly with the house’s living area. The wooden wall cladding elements are arranged with offsets, referencing the slate used on the building’s facade.

Black accents break the monochromatic dominance of light wood and, together with it, create a material composition that references the colors of the facade. The kitchen—the central element of the house—is made of black wood, as are the custom-designed BXB Studio dining table and chairs, as well as the armchair and side tables in the living room.

The raw geometry of wood and brick is softened by decorative lighting with organic shapes. In the dining area, the lamps take the form of clouds, emphasizing the room’s double-height openness. In the living room, in addition to the lamps, the sofa also references the organic forms of nature. The interior is consistently maintained in a palette that perfectly harmonizes with the brick, wood, and black slate. The effect of color harmony is further enhanced by carefully selected paintings by the artist Anna Chorzępa-Kaszub.
