LECTURE AND INAUGURAL SESSION AT 4 DESIGN DAYS

In February 2026, the International Congress Centre in Katowice hosted another edition of 4 Design Days, during which Bogusław Barnaś delivered a lecture entitled “Masters’ Interiors” on the Hybrid Interior project. He also participated in the 4DD inaugural session and received the BEST POLISH INTERIOR DESIGN 2026 award.

4 Design Days – Hybrid Interior Presentation

During this year’s edition of 4 Design Days in Katowice – one of Europe’s most significant events dedicated to architecture – Bogusław Barnaś gave a lecture as part of the “Masters’ Interiors” series, presenting the multi-award-winning Hybrid Interior project.

Inaugural session with experts: Agnieszka Kalinowska-Sołtys, Jeanette Frisk, Rama Gheerawo, Robert Konieczny, David Sim, Enrico Vianello, Janusz Komurkiewicz oraz Mikołaj Jarosz.

The event also featured a formal inaugural session, moderated by Przemo Łukasik and Marcin Sadowski, which focused on designing buildings resilient to contemporary climate, energy, and social crises. Within the framework of the debate, we presented three key pillars implemented at BXB studio that redefine the standards of modern housing:

Scorpio House® – a system of modern shelters that we integrate into residential architecture at BXB studio, ensuring safety and security in uncertain times.

Symbiotic Houses – sustainable architecture deeply rooted in regional tradition, harmonizing with nature, the surrounding landscape, and the local context.

Hybrid Interior – an innovative remote work model implemented by our studio even before the pandemic. It allows for resource optimization while simultaneously enhancing creative efficiency.

The inaugural session and the discussion on the future directions of modern architecture featured distinguished experts: Agnieszka Kalinowska-Sołtys, Jeanette Frisk, Rama Gheerawo, Robert Konieczny, David Sim, Enrico Vianello, Janusz Komurkiewicz, and Mikołaj Jarosz.
