The Lesser Poland Eaves Cottage was designed for a family of four and inspired by traditional, wooden, eaves houses. Eaves and arcades were used to protect house fronts from the sun and rain. In the past, such buildings were used to frame frontages to town squares, such as Lanckorona eaves wood houses that allows you to walk on paths protected from the rain.

Working on the Lesser Poland Eaves Cottage, we had to follow local strict regulations that allows us to build only two storey houses covered with a ridge roof. The second floor had to be a attic according to the regulations. Despite such restrictive regulations, we were able to take advantage of the picteresque plot on a southern hillside to create an interesting house structure, that fits into the landscape. Inside the building we managed to separate five different internal levels of the house.
